A Christmas Carol
This retelling of the Charles Dickens classic is filled with warmth, humor, music and holiday cheer. Wealthy miser Ebenezer Scrooge greets every Christmas with a “Bah, Humbug”. That all changes when he is visited by three holiday spirits who reveal to him his misguided past, reclusive present and tragic future, helping him to realize the errors of his ways and to embrace the kindness and generosity in his heart.

Comedy Jam is being taken over by four of Chicago’s funniest female stand-up comics all on one stage, all on one night! This show is NOT for women only. These comedians have been making men and women laugh for years, so come to Metropolis for our comedy jamming ladies’ night.

The former fashion major is soon in over her head as this new challenge is more difficult than she had ever imagined. With help from a few new friends, the misguided attempt to get her boyfriend back leads to a much different journey, proving that self-discovery never goes out of style. Little Shop of Horrors

Deviously delicious sci-fi smash hit musical Little Shop of Horrors has devoured audience’s hearts for decades. During a solar eclipse, shy, love-struck floral assistant Seymour discovers a strange and unusual plant he names “Audrey II”- after his co-worker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-wailing carnivore plant promises the lonely florist fame, fortune, and escape from life on skid row with the girl of his dreams, as long as he keeps supplying the menace with its fix: a steady supply of blood. Suddenly, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s alien origins and quest for world domination. Little Shop of Horrors is a charming, quirky, tongue-in-cheek comedy from the creative geniuses Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin).
